Why?Christian influence upon America's national life has been a constant feature throughout our long history. From men of deep religious faith who, like John Witherspoon, gave birth to this nation "under God," through contemporary men and women of faith who live out the Biblical implications of their faith, America has been richly blessed. Unfortunately, we have ignored our responsibilities to be active and educated in our political process. In America, we now face a grave crisis or moral decay, breakdown of the family unit, humanist brainwashing of our children in public schools, pornography, drug and alcohol abuse, violence, sexual perversion, and the threat to our religious liberty. Today, people of faith are called to be involved in the political process. We are called to hold government accountable. We must hold our elected officials to standards of behavior and positions that are based on principle. Let us therefore, joyously take personal responsibility for this good land. Let us seek to encourage all people of faith to participate in the democratic process by voting and by voting intelligently. Let us identify the great ethical and moral questions that often find their way into legislation, and let us make our voices heard. To keep informed of developments, join our email list. Register to vote in the next election. |
